What we've done

Working alongside software developer AppShaker and BBC Earth, Big Screen Media helped create the UK's first Augmented Reality Experience, based on BBC's Frozen Planet.

Big Screen Media used Hibino LVD-638 to build the 4m x 2.5m LED Screen, which was flown on a truss ground support structure inside the Bristol Museum, which attracted over 10,000 visitors during the week that it was installed. The technology allows people of all ages to see themselves on the large screen, but with the added reality factor, which in this case was the artic, as featured on the Frozen Planet series. Here, Penguins, Dolphins and Wales would jump out of the water and 'interact' with children and adults, creating a truly memorable experience.
