Sundown Festival Norfolk

The Sundown Festival in Norfolk appeals to a broad cross-section of Festival Goers by having pop acts such as Olly Murs and Pixie Lott on the Saturday and more urban acts such as Labrinth and Chase & Status on the Sunday enjoyed by crowds of around 25,000.

The Sundown festival appears to have gone done well with the performers as well, with Radio One DJ Zane Lowe, who was the penultimate act of the weekend, saying on his radio show: “Thank you to the kind people of Norfolk for one of the best receptions of the festival season all year".

Obviously, this in no small part down to the provision and staffing of the Audio/Visual equipment supplied by Big Screen Media including Lighthouse R7-ER for both iMag screens (configured as 5m x 3m) and Flyer 15 for the stage screen (configured as 8m x 4m). The latter being a new addition to inventory at BSM incorporating a lightweight 15mm product, which can be used either as transparent or solid depending on requirements. Camera kit was Big Screen Media’s High Definition Portable Production Unit, along with 3 x JVC HD251 HD camera channels.

Technical Director of Big Screen Media, Alex Hall (who has seen every type of event set-up over the years) was mildly surprised at the extent of the technical specifications required by the pop acts on the Saturday - see below pic for example!
