What we've done

Big Screen Media worked in conjunction with creative agency Collective Minds to deliver a truly bespoke visual experience for the launch of the latest 458 Speciale performance sports car. The highly prestigious and selective nature of the event is reflected in the £208,000.00 price tag of the car.

The brief was to provide a bespoke curved LED screen - which had to be of the highest resolution to achieve the client's exacting requirements. Christie Microtiles had been considered, but just could not match the unrivalled brightness levels and seamless uniformity that LED can offer. Big Screen Media chose G-Lux 3mm Tiles, the latest product, which features an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre design, weighing just 3KG per tile.

The screen was designed to 'wrap' around the rear of the car, creating more of a '3D' experience for the potential buyers at each event. Big Screen Media also supplied two Panasonic Full HD Robotic hothead cameras and a full Graphics system driven by ATEM 2 M/E and Playback Pro Plus.

The launch toured across the country to 11 different venues, starting at HR Owen in London and finishing at Meridien Modena in Lyndhurst.

Alex Hall, who looks after Operations at Big Screen Media commented:

"Once again, we have been awarded one of the most prestigious contracts in the market-place. Its not everyday we get to launch the latest Ferrari and in such a creative way! The entire project has now enabled us to showcase what we are able to offer in terms of creative displays and video production to other clients in this sector of the industry"
